2012 was a great year! We had lots of fun and many laughs but I’m excited to be starting a new year. I always have one word for each year. My word for 2012 was Intentional.
Present. It’s my word for 2013. I want to be present in everything I do and everywhere I am.
Present in my quiet time in the mornings.
Present with my children throughout the day.
Present with my husband and our marriage.
Present with my friendships.
Present with my blogging.
{and the list could go on and on}.
It’s so easy to live in the past and the future. I’m a planner and a list maker. It comes natural to me. While it’s a good thing, it also could be bad. Maybe I plan too much? Maybe I should just live in the present a little more than I do. And that is what I plan to work on this year in all areas of my life.
